Welcome to Kaivalyadhamam Heritage Homestay, an eco-friendly Guest House and Meditation centre located in the ancient Venkatam region of Palakkad Gap (Vidharabhoo) in Kerala – also known as the gateway, rice bowl and mango village of Gods’ Own Country. Set in the foothills of Kollengode Themmala (southern mountain) of the Western Ghats, the homestay is just a few kilometres away from the ancient Palace site where centuries of history still lives on.
At Kailvalyadhamam, you can leave the chaos of the city life behind, and breathe in the heady fragrance of the simple yet immensely interesting rural life of southern India. Abundant mango orchards and Palmyra dot the scenic landscape with its backdrop of blue hills, valleys and waterfalls, and peacocks and other migratory birds roam around peacefully. Pleasant breezy weather and moderate rainfalls ensure that the locality has a lush vegetation cover that relaxes the body and mind. Visitors can also enjoy the panoramic hill view of rice paddy fields and lotus ponds, and witness the crop cycles at their traditional best.

This region is a treasure trove for those who have an interest in Cultural Heritages. The region has remained largely untainted by the passage of time, having managed to preserve its natural beauty, vast rich culture, and its simple way of life. Visitors to the village can witness first hand the different ethnical groups still engaged in their age old practices and traditional occupations, and take part in local festivals and celebrations.

At Kaivalyadhamam, visitors can learn the art of silence and focused meditation, and gain insights on life skills and mental health in a sacred environment. They can revive their spiritual energy, achieve clarity of mind and calmness and develop a deep sense of satisfaction that forms the foundation of a happy life. In addition to perfect physical and mental health, they can also be free of negative emotions such as stress, strain, anxiety, tension, fear, worry, anger and hatred.
Visitors can also avail of the services of a medical doctor on request, in addition to special Ayurveda and Panchakarma treatments in Palakkad and Cochin Centers facilitated by specially trained male and female Ayurveda practitioners.
